Juice concentrate is fruit juice from which most of the water has been extracted. When most of the liquid is removed, the result is a thick, syrupy product know as concentrate. Extracting the water reduces bacterial growth, meaning that concentrate does not spoil as easily juice. Concentrate is often more heavily processed that raw fruit juice. Apple Juice contrate is often used as a color or flavor enhancer for candies, frozen novelties, fruit snacks, jams, jellies, sauces, and beverages. Organic means it is made from apples that are grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides.
