Flaxseed

Also known as common flax or linseed, is a member of the genus Linum in the family Linaceae. They are one of the oldest crops and have two types, brown and golden. It is a food and fiber crop cultivated in cooler regions of the world. They are a source of Omega-3 fatty acid and lignans.
